Black & White

As classic as it is contemporary, black and white is an age old color combination.

We are in LOVE with Grace Kelly's Parisian black and white dress (designed by Edith Head) in Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window.

Black and white is crisp, clean, and timeless, even for interiors.

We love the contrast of the Rose Tarlow bed with the white sunburst mirror.  Suzanne Kasler said she had always amired the black and white combintion from Channel and tried to bring that to this space.
Notice the lattice-work on the walls and ceiling.

Houston Interior Designer Rob Southern used Phillip Jeffries' Lacquered Walls in Eyeliner in this entry.  The reflective quality of this wall treatment makes this room much lighter by adding a bit of sheen. The white hall chairs are painted in one of our favorite colors, Benjamin Moore's White Dove.

This Carerra marble basketweave pattern would look glamorous in any bathroom!

Mary McDonald's terrace is tres chic!
