Our Favorite Foyer Chairs

  Foyer Chairs, once used as seating for guests while waiting, are now used as more of a decorative item.  Creating an exquisite vignette upon walking into ones home, foyer chairs have become the perfect accessory to the entry piece like the perfect piece of jewelry to an outfit!  They can add a bit of drama and style to any foyer.

Ok- this has to be one of the most beautiful textiles and wall covering companies to date!  And to top it off... they are based out of Houston Texas- right in Brooke's backyard!

We have been drooling over there handpainted made to order wallpaper for years and now we see that they have introduced textiles in linen, jute, and velvet!

Kelly's Kitchen!

Our clients' kitchen is featured in the latest issue of Southern Living!!! We can't take any credit for the kitchen design (it was designed by the previous homeowner and their designer) but we can blog about it!

 Here is a wonderful view of the Herron's fabulous kitchen. The island was made with antique heart pine.  We love the herringbone patterned marble backsplash, the old marble countertops, the Travertine floor, and the large window above the sink. 

Here's a closer look at the stunning 3 inch thick honed marble countertops, which were salvaged from an old Nashville theater. 

Besides the amazingly thick countertops, we LOVE the custom built-in china cabinet. These doors were actually antique French windows complete with the original hardware!

Kelly Wearstler

We are excited to follow one of our design mentors a bit more closely, thanks to the start of Kelly Wearstler's new blog, My Vibe My Life.  Kelly Wearstler is an amazingly talented residential and commercial designer and we love that she is not afraid to use color!

We were fortunate enough to meet and chat with Kelly at the 2009 New York International Gift Fair. She was very sweet and was excited about the launch of her new collection with Sferra.
