Office Space

The holidays are behind us, and it's time to get back to our busy schedules and lives.  Whether you work or not, we all have a work space where we spend a great deal of time on our computers, sifting through mail, working on projects, etc. Wouldn't it be refreshing to return to an organized yet chic desk? If your office/home work area needs a lift, here are some images that might help to inspire.  Enjoy!

(1)
We love the pop of Kelly green against the black & white floor.

Aerin Lauder's Vintage Desk is so gorgeous and glamorous here. How fabulous is the Gracie wallcovering? We sure would be inspired to be productive in this setting. On second hand, maybe not. We would be too busy drooling at the walls.

 (3)
This desk is fabricated (fabric was wrapped around a hollow core door!)  It's even trimmed with ribbon & nailheads.  The base is a pair of sawhorses. Very creative! We might want to add a thin layer of glass as a protective measure.

(4)
How chic & whimsical is Michelle Smith's office in NYC?  Her fashion line Milly is as adorable and colorful as her office.

(5)
Who wouldn't mind working here on a gloomy day? All of these bright colors would be sure to pick anyones spirits up.

(6)
Here is Bobbi Brown in her office. Very industrial chic.

 (7)
All of the baskets fit perfectly in each compartment here.

Event Designer Tara Guerard's office was recently featured in Traditional Home. Notice the Chinese Screen and the plush shag rug.

(9)
We love the cozy leather chairs, the zebra rug, and the blue walls.  Notice that the moulding is painted the same color as the walls.

This Kwid pattern on the roman shades is one of our  favorite fabric designs. The green, white, and yellow color scheme keeps this office crisp and clean.

The mix of old and new is what makes this space so intriguing.  We love the sunburst mirror with the framed intaglios surrounding it.

 (12)
The floating desk and the Louis Phillipe ghost chair make this work space uncluttered and modern.

This would be a great place to pull up to and do a quick bit of work!

This is one of our favorite desks designed by West Elm.  It is the parsons desk and is very affordable! We love the mix of the crisp white with the turquoise chandelier as well as the KWID (Kelly Wearstler)  fabric on the desk chair.
