Calm and Collected

Have you seen the current issue of Southern Living yet?
Here are some images from the "Calm and Collected" article that we can't seem to get enough of!

This newly constructed home has historic charm. Notice the "X" motif on the windows.

This adorable Cavalier is ready to greet guests in their entry. Notice the neutral trumeau paired with the walnut buffet, the shiplap walls, and the hand painted floor.  The unexpected chandelier adds a bit of whimsy.

We love the two tiered coffee table, the Italian chandelier, the zebra rug layered with seagrass, the gorgeous trumeau, the hydrangeas, the neutral walls, and the chairs. WE.LOVE. IT. ALL.

The splash of green from the table skirt and the fun zebra print pattern help add just the perfect dose of color to this otherwise neutral dining room. The over-sized chandelier makes a bold statement. The fixture's light and airy feel along with the room's high ceilings help make this "play on scale" so successful.

Here is another wonderful trumeau mirror. The lamp shade trim is an
unexpected detail that looks great paired with the animal print chair fabric.

It is obvious to us that this homeowner carefully selected each piece in her home and it has payed off. What a fun, fresh, yet timeless home! Be sure to check out the rest of the article!
